When Flexion Robotics set out to prove their humanoid could leave the lab, we followed it into the mountains. Filmed across forest paths and open field trails, the project captures the moment simulation meets reality. 
Every step a test of software trained in a virtual world and asked to perform in a physical one. Working shot by shot alongside their engineers, we found that the robot's small unpredictabilities gave the film its life, producing visuals no storyboard could have anticipated. 
The result is a portrait of machine and landscape meeting on equal terms, where engineering meets filmmaking, one mountain at a time.
